It depends which affiliate hotel you stay at. I have no idea if there is on for only visiting Splash Lagoon on a day pass. I never have. We chose Country Inn 2 day package, across the street, affiliated but not physically connected. It was 1 or 2 hundred. The amount varies. This is standard at any hotel I have been to in the past 10 years.

We did home2 suites. It doesn't directly connect but is right across the street and super comfy and clean. Honestly, the disconnect was nice and I'dhighly recommend it! Our daughter is similar in age and really enjoyed coming back to the hotel with its own pool after a couple hours at the park... doubt you'll be there all day with a four year old.
