hi, you can drive upto the ferry port and there will be a free parking available there. After that its a short walk to the ferry port. There aren't regular service to Delft Islands - so you may have to hire a private boat for the journey which will take approx 1.5 hrs each way (cost not known). I suggest you go early morning as it can get really crowded with people going to see naga deepa viaharaya and nagapooshani kovil.

Take the 1st ferry to Nagadeepa at 7 am in the morning. Thereafter you returen to the mainland for early lunch. From there you can visit Dambakolapatuna, Kadurugoda temple, & the other sites in Jaffna. Delft takes 1 day. That you need to start at 7 am on then 1st ferry to Delft. Pre arrange for some one to take you around in Delft or you will be fleeced.
