There is no public transportation from the Duluth airport to Lutsen. Renting a vehicle will be the best way to get here. If you are traveling here during the spring, summer or fall, there is a shuttle service called Harriet's that is based out of Grand Marais. They can be reached at 218-370-9164.

I think 2 is plenty to experience most of the runs. They are open from 9:30 to 4pm. No night skiing. 3 days is great if you can swing it. I'd also recommend buying your tickets online …

I think 2 is plenty to experience most of the runs. They are open from 9:30 to 4pm. No night skiing. 3 days is great if you can swing it. I'd also recommend buying your tickets online ahead of time because you can save $ that way.. but make sure you want to ski all 3 days because there are no refunds. Also, last weekend they had 61 of the 90 runs open but I saw them grooming/making snow etc all the time so I'd bet there will be more as the season progresses.
