In a frightening incident at Sela Pass in Arunachal Pradesh, a group of tourists had a close call when the frozen lake they were walking on suddenly collapsed, sending them plunging into the icy waters below.

Tourists at Arunachal Pradesh's Sela Lake faced a dangerous situation when the ice cracked beneath them, plunging them into frigid waters. The incident, caught on video, underscores the risks of winter tourism in such extreme regions.

The video shows four people stuck in the frozen lake, two of whom were women. Calling for help, they were all rescued one by one.

Videos of people enjoying frozen lakes in Jammu and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh have surfaced. However, some tourists in Arunachal Pradesh faced danger after falling through the ice. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju advised caution and emphasised safety while exploring such environments.
