At least six people are injured after a taxi cab slammed into a group of individuals at a busy intersection in New York City on Christmas Day.

A taxi jumped a curb and struck six pedestrians in Manhattan’s Herald Square on Monday after its driver experienced a medical emergency, police said. Three victims were hospitalized, including a 9-year-old boy who suffered a thigh injury,

The incident in New York City comes just days after an attack at a Christmas market. On Dec. 20, a Saudi doctor drove his S.U.V into a crowd of people at a market in Magdeburg, Germany, leaving five people killed and over 200 injured.
