CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — In a move many expected after the North Carolina football team hired Bill Belichick to be its head coach, CBS Sports reports the Tar Heels are expected to hire the eight-time Super Bowl winner's son Stephen as their defensive coordinator.

North Carolina State is expected to hire D.J. Eliot, 48, who has previously served as defensive coordinator at Colorado, Kentucky, Kansas and Temple, and be given the same title with the Wolfpack, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel on Monday night.
