The Eagles did not practice on Christmas, and had they done so, quarterback Jalen Hurts would not have participated due to the concussion he sustained in a 36-33 loss to the Washington Commanders. Hurts’ status for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys is in question while he is in the concussion protocol.

The issue for Philadelphia is that while they have plenty of confidence in backup Kenny Pickett, he is dealing with an injury of his own. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee (16) looks to pass against the New England Patriots during the second half at Gillette Stadium in preseason action.

That's right, for one reason or another, the Eagles actually don't have a quarterback on their practice squad, with all of the weekly reps going to Jalen Hurts, then Kenny Pickett, then Tanner McKee in (probably) that order.
