Xbox Game Pass made record revenues throughout Holiday 2024, indicating the subscription service generated in excess of $1 billion--the previous record.

Microsoft shared details on the company's financial results for Q2 FY25 on Wednesday, revealing that gaming revenue was down 7% year-over-year for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2025. The quarter did see Xbox content and services revenue up 2%, to which the company credits growth in Xbox Game Pass. Xbox hardware revenue declined 29% year-over-year.

So far, Xbox Game Pass subscribers only have two games to look forward to when it comes to the February 2025 lineup. New games are added to Xbox Game Pass throughout each month. There wasn't a whole lot for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to look forward to in the first half of January 2025, but the second half of the month has been much busier.
