A Houston man injured in the Delta plane crash in Toronto last month is suing the airline and asking for a jury trial. Tomas Eugenio Salvador Stamm was a passenger on Flight 4819, which departed from the Minneapolis-St.

The Feb. 17 crash happened when the Delta plane carrying 80 passengers attempted to land on a snowy runway at the Toronto airport. Following its descent, the plane skidded along the runway in flames before it flipped upside down.

The plane made an emergency landing in an east Houston neighborhood on Wednesday night. The people inside were not injured and the plane remains intact. FOX 26's Jonathan Mejia spoke with a resident who was happy that the plane landed safely.

A single-engine Cessna made an emergency landing Wednesday night in east Houston near Galena Park, Houston police said. Just before 9 p.m., authorities were notified of a plane landing on a roadway in the 1900 block of Fidelity at Yuma Street.

The Cessna aircraft landed on Fidelity Street and Yuma Street near the Clinton Park area.
