The prestigious James Beard Awards have announced their annual shortlist of nominees, including some in Pittsburgh.

The James Beard Foundation also awards medals to honorees in food media, including cookbooks, TV shows, and journalism. Those nominees will be announced May 7 with the winners revealed June 14.
