One of the two pilots aboard the private jet owned by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil died when the aircraft veered off a runway in Arizona and hit a parked business jet.

The private jet of Vince Neil, the lead singer of Mötley Crüe, was involved in a collision with another airplane at Scottsdale Airport.

One person is dead and several were injured after a small business jet crashed into a parked plane as it arrived at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona, just east of Phoenix, on Monday afternoon.

One of two pilots died on a private jet owned by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil after the aircraft veered off a runway in Arizona and hit a business jet, according to a Federal Aviation Administration incident report.

While Vince Neil's private jet was involved in a fatal accident earlier this week, killing his longtime pilot and injuring three others, the rocker was not onboard at the time of the incident. Now, one of his good friends has revealed why Neil was not traveling on the ill-fated flight when it lost control upon touching down in Scottsdale,

"Instead of, you know, retiring and doing nothing, he did it literally until the day he died," Joie Vitosky's daughter said
