A portion of Los Angeles and Ventura counties will face a "Particularly Dangerous Situation" this week, as strong winds threaten to add on to three active fires that have killed at least two dozen people and destroyed thousands of structures-in some of the most devastating wildfires in California history.

Fires across the Los Angeles area have killed at least 25 people. The Palisades and Eaton wildfires are still burning in Southern California.

More than 8 million people are in the critical fire risk zone. Southern California remains in critical fire danger in the coming days, as red flag warnings continue amid the dry and windy conditions that are fuelling deadly wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
