A man shot and killed a security guard at the Honduran consulate near Atlanta who asked the man to turn over his gun before entering the building.

One person was declared dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital for treatment with a suspect arrested at the scene and taken to the Doraville police station for questioning

Police in Doraville are investigating a deadly double shooting outside of the Honduran Consulate office. The NWS is warning SoCal residents to be prepared as a life-threatening, destructive, widespread windstorm is expected to sweep through much of Los Angeles and Ventura counties Tuesday through Wednesday.
