Tate McRae is the leading lady of the albums chart this week as her latest effort, “ So Close to What ,” debuts at No. 1 in the United States. Not only is this the reigning pop star’s first No. 1 LP, and third full-length release overall, but McRae also enters the chart with biggest opening numbers for a woman artist this year.

Charli XCX swept the board at the BRIT Awards Saturday night in London, picking up five awards including artist, song and album of the year - for "Brat," while Sabrina Carpenter picked up the award for Global Success.
