The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face the Carolina Panthers in a game crucial to the team's playoff chances on Sunday. On Saturday, Carolina put its biggest offensive weapon on injured reserve. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Saturday that Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard is headed to injured reserve for a knee and calf injury just a day before the Buccaneers face off against the Panthers.

The Panthers will have to slow down Bucs WR Mike Evans in Week 17, and they’ll have to do it without CB Jaycee Horn.

The Buccaneers are 8-7 and need to win out in order to make the postseason. Tampa Bay had its four-game winning streak snapped at Dallas (26-24) on Monday Night Football, so this is a bounce-back spot at home. The Bucs host the Saints next weekend, so two divisional wins against teams with losing records and a little help is what Tampa Bay needs.
