Samsung’s exciting new flagship launch is just a few weeks away, and promises an Android upgrade that’s the closest we’ve seen yet to iPhone, at least from a security and privacy perspective. Android 15 which hit Pixels late last year has already raised the bar, but Samsung will take this further when its One UI 7 is released alongside the S25.

There were plenty of rumours about the Nothing Phone (3) in 2024, but it seems the new flagship phone launch was always destined for 2025. Now we have a more details about it – and seemingly from an official source.

Samsung’s current sale is the holy grail of promotions, combining enhanced trade-in prices and money off the device’s headline price. As it stands, buyers can get a straight $250 off the Galaxy S24 Ultra and a further $100 off in select colors (green, blue and orange). A total of $350 off the smartphone.

Samsung will launch its Galaxy S25 lineup on January 22, featuring the S25 Ultra with a 6.9-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a 200MP camera. The S24 Ultra, released last year, has similar specs but a slightly smaller display and different chipset.

Previous rumours had suggested Samsung might announce a Galaxy S25 Slim model alongside the other S25 devices during Galaxy Unpacked. However, that speculation has now been squashed. It's now claimed the Slim could launch in May instead.
