Some 4,000 security forces were deployed to keep the peace in Paris as Israel's national soccer team faces France a week after antisemitic attacks in Amsterdam.

With thousands of extra security personnel deployed on the streets of Paris and a “double ring” of security thrown around the national stadium, France is taking no chances with Thursday’s soccer match with Israel.

Thursday’s game comes a week after violent clashes in Amsterdam involving locals and Israeli soccer fans after a Europa League game, which has widely been condemned as antisemitic.
