ST. LOUIS — Detectives are investigating a north city shooting that killed a 15-year-old boy at a gas station parking lot. On Wednesday, St. Louis police identified the victim as Jamar Hamilton of Glasgow Village in St. Louis County. Detectives said the shooting happened on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Police responded to a shooting in north St. Louis County Tuesday just after midnight. The shooting happened on Trumbell Avenue, just off North Hanley in Belridge. The street was covered with bullets and a handgun magazine.

Flashing lights, crime scene tape and evidence markers littered the parking lot of the VP Fuels Gas Station at the corner of Riverview Drive and North Broadway following the shootout. Police say the call came in around 1:30 a.

LOUIS — Jamar Hamilton, 15, of the Glasgow Village area, was identified by police Wednesday as the victim in a fatal shooting early Tuesday at a gas station in the city's Baden neighborhood. Police said he was found dead on the ground at the Speedy station at 8880 North Broadway.
