Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) shot down rumors that he would switch to the Republican Party. Speaking to Semafor, Fetterman dismissed such rumors as “amateur hour s***,” vowing to remain with the Democratic Party. He elaborated that even if he wanted to switch, he’d be an unpopular Republican.

It’s not going to happen,” Fetterman told Semafor on Monday night. “And even if I wanted to do that, that is a rocket sled to Palookaville to try to switch. I would make a pretty bad Republican.”
