Varun Dhawan's much-awaited film Baby John started with promising numbers on its opening day, grossing an estimated Rs 11.25 crore in India on Christmas. However, the film's performance saw a drop on its second day.

The Rule, Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John failed to churn out big on its opening day. On the Christmas Day holiday, even the dubbed Hindi version of Allu Arjun-starrer outshined Varun's film in terms of box office figures.
