Bad weather stuff - The Horse Forum
Dec 28, 2024 · Okay, normally I'm all about hurricanes living where we are... But the weather recently (and not intentionally meaning to exclude anybody whether in the US or Canada or even in other parts of the HF universe) has been bad on the West Coast, Texas and now in a large area from LA/MS/AL/TN/NW FL up through middle Illinois is scary or is going to be.

Apr 23, 2024 · Perennial peanut is mostly limited to the coastal plain as far as I know and won't grow much north of central Ga and central AL. There's a few growers in lower LA and gulf coast region of Texas. Dryland yields 2-4 tons per acre per year; we generally cut in late June/early July and again in September. Irrigated can do 5-6 tpa.
