Nov 1, 2024 · No way Costco and Amazon are just eating $100 out of panic of excess inventory one week after a new product came out. Apple seems to be pretty hands-off in terms of pricing nowadays. I doubt it's due to retailers panicking. The $399 is probably the "normal sale" price going forward much as it was for the iPad mini 6 a few months after release.
